HPTA Players at Georgia Clay Championships

Successful HPTA players at the Georgia Clay Championships

Our academy goal is to take the competitive players to the next level technically, tactically, physically and mentally.

We have a philosophy of good attitude, hard work, and discipline.

We have 80-100 players training weekly. With small groups, video technical analysis, internationally experienced coaches, strong work ethic, and a very competitive tournament schedule in Atlanta, we have the ability to develop strong players.

We have a strong 20 plus year track record of developing players, with Pro titles, ITF titles, National titles and many college scholarships awarded to our players training.

Training is provided at two sites: the main site at Eastside Athletic Club, and a satellite site at Collins Hill Athletic Club. For details of schedules and costs at Collins Hill, please see here.

What is QuickStart? QuickStart is a program promoted by the USTA to help develop tennis abilities in young players. The players start off in a small court using low-compression balls. This allows them to develop the capability to sustain rallies. As the players develop and grow, they use larger courts and higher compression balls until they are ready to move to full-size courts and regular tennis balls.

For more information, see the USTA QuickStart site.
