Training

Successful HPTA players at the Georgia Clay Championships
Our academy goal is to take the competitive players to the next level technically, tactically, physically, mentally and emotionally. This is an academy for serious players only. We do not offer out scholarships to entice players to train here. We have a philosophy of good attitude, hard work, and discipline. We have 80-100 players training weekly. With small groups, video technical analysis, internationally experienced coaches at every level possible, strong work ethic, and a very competitive tournament schedule in Atlanta, we have the ability to develop strong players. We believe in coaching "BEYOND THE OBVIOUS" - unique, innovative coaching. We have a strong 20 plus year track record of developing players, with Pro titles, ITF titles, National titles and many college scholarships awarded to our players training. Our staff is trained to realize that they are dealing with the most important people in your lives. We think Hobson Performance Tennis Academy is one of the most important investments you can make in your child's life. Because in addition to fun and friendship, we stress life skills and being a good person in a safe disciplined environment. Each player will receive a written evaluation during his or her stay here. We live by our philosophy - "attitude, training, results". To sign up for training, please complete the online sign-up form.
GOALSWe believe that it is crucial to set personal goals and to ensure that the training program is aligned to help meet those goals. Players can set their goals online and review and share them with their coaches.
