Great Performers
Great performers in any arena have the ability to perform best WHEN IT REALLY COUNTS. How do we develop this ability ?
- Get physically in great shape
- Have routines and patterns to go when this time arrives
- Set goals. Goalsetting leads to much higher levels of performance.
- Practice under pressure. In practice situations make yourself play from 5-5, or play only in the battlezones (deuce).
- Have success in matches when the score is close (and have the ability to recall the way you felt and played during this time).
